Kitchen Supervisor

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure the preparation, cooking, plating, and packaging of dishes meet company standards and recipes. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and coordinating all kitchen activities, such as food prep, cooking, plating, and packaging. - Ensuring that all dishes and products meet company standards in taste, quality, and presentation. - Managing kitchen staff schedules, allocating daily duties, and maintaining smooth shift operations. - Monitoring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen and food production areas in compliance with FSSAI and internal standards. - Checking the freshness and proper storage of ingredients, with a focus on perishable items. - Working closely with the procurement/store team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and minimize wastage. - Supervising the preparation of large quantities of sweets and savouries during festivals or high-demand periods. - Conducting training sessions for junior staff on food safety, hygiene, and standard procedures. - Handling kitchen equipment and ensuring regular maintenance and cleaning schedules are followed. - Supporting the head chef and operations team in implementing new dishes, menus, and production processes. - Maintaining daily production and wastage logs, and promptly reporting any issues to management.
