Kitchen Supervisor JDs Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff; create staff schedules and monitor performance. Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth and efficient daily kitchen operations and workflow. Food Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, and presentation; enforce proper food handling and storage. Sanitation & Hygiene: Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and adheres to all food safety and sanitation regulations and codes. Inventory & Supply Management: Track inventory levels, order ingredients and supplies, manage storage, and minimize waste. Menu Development & Cost Control: Participate in menu planning, ensure portion control, and manage costs to increase profit margins. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning correctly and maintained. Customer & Vendor Relations: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and liaise with suppliers.
