You will be responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services across backend, frontend, and proxy layers. Key Responsibilities: Set up, configure, and maintain development environments across backend (app-api, app-workflow, proxy-server) and frontend (app-frontend) services. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for microservices and React applications. Manage Dockerized services using docker-compose and maintain development/production parity. Automate infrastructure tasks using AWS CLI and Systems Manager (SSM). Manage secrets, environment variables, and secure credentials (e.g., MongoDB URI, JWT tokens, AWS Cognito credentials, API keys). Collaborate with developers to streamline local and cloud environment setup. Support integration and testing of components, ensuring services run on designated local ports (80, 8000, 8001). Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and environment issues. Assist in AWS cloud services configuration, particularly Cognito, S3, CloudFront, and Lambda (if required). Required Skills and Experience: 4+ years of DevOps or related engineering experience. Proficiency in containerization technologies: Docker, Docker Compose. Experience with AWS services: CLI, Cognito, S3, CloudFront, SSM. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management. Hands-on experience with Node.js and Python 3.12 applications. Experience managing MongoDB databases and secure connection setups. Familiarity with frontend environments using npm, React, and environment variable configuration. Ability to write and maintain .env files for various services. Basic scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, etc.). Understanding of secure key management practices (e.g., JWT, HMAC, encryption keys) Nice to Have: Experience with OpenAI API, PostHog, and other 3rd party integrations. Exposure to observability tools and logging systems. Knowledge of GitHub workflows and repository management.
