Role & responsibilities

Modern Trade Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive modern trade strategy to achieve company sales objectives, expand market presence, and increase brand visibility across various modern trade channels, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores, and specialty stores.
Sales and Revenue Growth
:
Lead the sales team in driving revenue growth through effective planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and proposing actionable strategies.
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand distribution and secure new partnerships in the modern trade space. Explore new channels and market segments to maximize sales potential.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, feedback, and training to ensure their continuous development and success. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the Hygiene or FMCG industry, specifically focusing on modern trade channels.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
Proactive, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong relationship with Key Modern Trade Accounts (e.g. Reliance, D-Mart, Metro, Spar, walmart etc)
