Job Description

Position

Mahindra Teqo is looking for a bright, talented, and go-getter candidate for the role of Business Development, to plan, direct, and convert the sales activities to increase revenue through new account acquisition and generating additional revenue through existing accounts. The candidate shall develop strategic selling initiatives for existing and new products and services to maximize profitability and market share.

Key

Business Development

1. Developing new business opportunities and long-term tie-ups with clients

2. Lead the overall sales process and drive deals conversion from start to successful closure

3. Build customer relationships, develop, and focus customer base providing solutions to their goals

4. Do competitor benchmarking and evaluate their offerings, fine-tune the company CVP

5. Prepare proposals and get market insights on the competition pricing / vendor strategy

6. Prepare the deal appreciation summary and risk matrix

7. Co-ordinate with Analytics and Business Teams for proposal preparation

8. Drive Standardization and Cost reduction projects, business wide

9. Territory development- Developing Territory allotted, ensuring maximum share of Wallet

10. Nurture & Develop New Value added Services

Market Expansion

1. Analyze customer requirements and infer key market trends; stay updated on the central and state policies

2. Attend industry functions and conferences to promote the Teqo businesses

3. Travel and interact with client on regular basis to ensure Mahindra Teqo becomes preferred choice of service provider.

4. Provide feedback on emerging business trends and best industry practices with a view to refine the business model, and business excellence

5. Develop market insights on current competitors

6. Lost order analysis and inputs to Product and Operations team to further improve offerings

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience, including 2+ Experience in sales (Commercial or Technical) / Business development
  • Experience in Solar / Energy / Power industry would be preferred

Education

Bachelor in Engineering with Min 5 Years of experience; Or MBA with Min 3 Years of experience
