Job Title: Vendor Assistant Manager Driver Hiring

Role Overview

TAT (Turn-Around-Time)

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Coordination:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage recruitment vendors for driver hiring.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent candidate flow.
  • Negotiate vendor terms, rates, and contracts in alignment with company policies.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback.

Driver Hiring Process:

  • Oversee the end-to-end driver recruitment cycle through vendors.
  • Ensure vendors meet hiring targets and quality standards.
  • Track and monitor driver applications, screening, and selection progress.
  • Resolve escalations and challenges faced during driver hiring.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for driver onboarding and documentation.

Process & Compliance:

  • Ensure all hiring activities are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, bills, and driver hiring data.
  • Collaborate with the operations and HR teams to streamline processes.
  • Monitor cost per hire and ensure budget adherence.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and share daily/weekly hiring MIS reports.
  • Analyze vendor performance and hiring data to improve efficiency.
  • Recommend process improvements for better vendor and driver management.

  • Knowledge of driver recruitment processes and compliance norms.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field.
  • Experience:

    3–6 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in driver hiring, logistics, or fleet management.
