Job Summary: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with
assigned key accounts, renewals, driving upsell, cross-sell opportunities, and expanding the business
within assigned accounts/portfolio. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in customer retention
and revenue growth by understanding client needs and aligning them with the company s offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure
customer satisfaction and retention.
Upsell and Cross-sell: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to
existing clients, maximizing account value.
Account Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to expand business within existing
accounts, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
Client Engagement: Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic discussions
with clients to understand their evolving needs and introduce relevant solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver
tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
Reporting and Analysis: Track account metrics, forecast account growth, and prepare
reports for senior management on account performance.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract renewals and negotiations to ensure favorable terms
and secure long-term agreements.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to better
position the company s offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts in a B2B environment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for account growth.
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Preferred:
Experience in SAAS industry or related fields.
Prior experience in upsell and cross-sell strategies in a SaaS or tech environment.
Prior experience in Customer relationship management
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
