Job Description

A Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with a company's most important clients, often referred to as key accounts. They act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning client needs with the company's offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and Maintaining Relationships:Establishing strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives, and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Client Advocacy:Representing the client's needs and perspectives within the organization, ensuring their voice is heard and their requirements are met.
  • Strategic Planning:Developing and executing account plans to achieve specific goals, such as revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
  • Identifying Growth Opportunities:Recognizing and pursuing new business opportunities within existing key accounts, such as upselling, cross-selling, and expanding into new markets.
  • Revenue Generation:Contributing to the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals by effectively managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:Addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential problems.
  • Communication and Coordination:Facilitating communication and collaboration between the client and various internal departments, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of information and services.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Tracking key account metrics, analyzing performance data, and providing regular reports on account status and progress.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Working closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other teams to ensure client needs are met and company objectives are achieved.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Effectively communicating with clients and internal teams, building rapport, and managing relationships.
  • Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills:Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning:Developing and executing account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning client needs with company strategies.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:Identifying and resolving client issues, analyzing data, and making informed decisions.
  • Customer Focus and Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Teamwork:Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues, and achieving common goals.

A seasoned professional with MBA qualification and 8 - 15 years experience in Sales & Customer Relationship is what we are looking for.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,140,005.66 per year
