Job Description

Purpose – Why does it Exist?
This role involves managing the relationship with the platform, driving marketing initiatives, analyzing data, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the respective channel, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Negotiate and manage agreements, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing profitability.
  • Plan and optimize budget allocation
  • Collaborate with the platform to optimize product listings, promotions, and overall performance
  • Responsible for generating maximum revenue from accounts handled
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory management
  • Monitor product availability, resolve any operational issues, and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals and initiatives with larger teams
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, revenue, and customer feedback
  • Ensuring brand positioning across the accounts
Experience & Qualifications
  • Graduate with 5 years of experience as a key account manager in a D2C start-up
  • Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with e-commerce analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
