Junior Product Specialist

Job Summary:

The SAP PLM Technical Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP PLM solutions. This role requires expertise in Fiori development and Core Data Services (CDS), the ability to work in shifts, and experience in service management, including handling incidents and service requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP PLM Technical solutions across various business segments of Research Development, Regulatory and Product Supply.

Customization: Define and develop custom solutions to meet specific business requirements, including Fiori applications and CDS views.

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PLM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams.

Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP PLM configurations, customizations, and Fiori applications.

Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP PLM systems, including handling incidents and service requests.

Shift Work: Ability to work in shifts to provide 24/7 support as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SAP PLM objects such as Specification management, Recipe development, Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Document Management, Classification, and Bill of Material.

Experience with SAP ABAP, Fiori development, including SAPUI5 and OData services.

Expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) for creating data models and views.

Knowledge of ALE/IDOC processes and SAP-PLM interfaces.

Service Management: Previous experience in service management, including handling incidents and service requests.

Certifications: SAP PLM Certification is often preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong report writing skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with S4 HANA.

Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.

Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions.

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
