Junior PHP Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Junior Laravel Developer to join our development team.

The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of experience (including internships) working with Laravel and PHP frameworks, and a strong passion for clean, efficient coding practices.

Work Location: Trichy, Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using Laravel framework.
• Write clean, secure, and well-structured code following industry standards.
• Work with MySQL databases, including creating queries, tables, and optimising performance.
• Integrate front-end components built by UI/UX teams with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or pursuing final year if internship completed).
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP frameworks (including internship projects).
• Experience working with MySQL and writing complex queries.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Experience with REST APIs development and integration.
• Exposure to third-party APIs, payment gateways, or external libraries.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React (optional but beneficial).
