Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Network & System Administrator with hands-on exposure to AWS to support our growing IT and cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates at the start of their career who want strong practical experience across Networking, Linux/Windows System Administration, and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS).

Key ResponsibilitiesNetworking & AWS

• Assist in setup, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN).
• Support AWS networking components, including:
• VPC, Subnets, Route Tables
• Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways
• Security Groups & Network ACLs
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Assist in configuring:
• VPNs (site-to-site & remote access)
• Load balancers (ALB/NLB – basic level)
• Support cloud-to-on-prem connectivity.
• Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.

System Administration

• Assist in managing Linux and Windows (Windows 10,11, Server) servers (on-prem and cloud):
• User management, permissions, updates, and patches
• Perform basic server hardening and security best practices.
• Monitor system performance, disk usage, logs, and uptime.
• Assist with:
• Backup & restore processes
• Antivirus, endpoint protection, and system health checks
• Support application deployments in coordination with DevOps/development teams.
• Manage filesystem, services, and basic shell scripting.

Support & Operations

• Troubleshoot network, system, and access-related issues.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Maintain IT asset, server, and access documentation.
• Follow IT security policies and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of:
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS
• Routing & switching fundamentals
• Hands-on exposure to AWS, including:
• EC2, VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, IAM (basic)
• Working knowledge of:
• Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server (basic)
• Fundamentals of:
• VPNs, Firewalls, and Access Control
• Basic scripting knowledge:
• Bash / PowerShell (intro level)
• Ability to troubleshoot:
• Network connectivity issues
• Server performance & access issues
• Good documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• AWS Certification:
• Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect – Associate
• Exposure to:
• Load Balancers, Auto Scaling
• Bastion hosts, jump servers
• Basic understanding of:
• DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation – beginner level)
• Monitoring tools:
• CloudWatch, Zabbix, Nagios, or similar

CTC / Salary Range

₹4 – ₹5 LPA (Based on skills, certifications, and practical exposure)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
