Junior Motion Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Animation & Motion Design: Assist in the design and animation of motion graphics for digital advertisements, social media content, website elements, corporate videos, presentations, and interactive experiences.
• Visual Asset Preparation: Prepare and optimize static graphic assets for animation, working closely with graphic designers to ensure seamless integration into motion projects.
• Video Editing Support: Provide support in video editing, including cutting, sequencing, and adding titles, lower thirds, and other motion elements.
• Conceptual Contribution: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and idea generation for video and animation projects, bringing fresh perspectives and creative solutions.
• Brand Guideline Adherence: Ensure all motion graphic work adheres strictly to client brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual identity, animation style, and overall aesthetic.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D or similar) to execute design and animation tasks.
• Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from senior designers, art directors, and clients effectively, iterating on animations and visuals to meet project objectives.
• Trend Awareness: Stay informed about current trends in motion graphics, animation techniques, and video production to continually enhance skills and creative output.
• Asset Management: Organize and manage project files, footage, and animation assets efficiently, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in motion graphics design; recent graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing motion graphic design skills, animation projects, and video editing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is essential.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation.
• Basic understanding of 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of animation principles, timing, pacing, and visual storytelling through motion.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills, capable of discussing design and animation concepts.
