JUNIOR MERCHANDISER
ROLE TASKSORDER MANAGEMENTReceive purchase orders from buyers and verify details (style, quantity, delivery dates, pricing)Verify internal order sheets with buyer PO with relevant information for purchase, production and planning teams.Track order progress.SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT & APPROVALSCoordinate with sampling team for development of proto, salesman and pre-production samples.Ensure samples are made as per buyer tech packs and specifications.Track sample timelines and inform senior merchandiser or dept head for buyer approvals.BUYER COMMUNICATIONAct as a point-of-contact for buyers on a day-to-day basis (order updates, changes, clarifications). Fluency in written and spoken English required.Share production updates, delays, and shipment plan professionally and clearly.Escalate issues like material shortage or QC concerns to the senior merchandisers / dept head.PRODUCTION COORDINATIONWork closely with the production team to ensure timely execution of orders.Communicate buyer requirements (packing standards, labeling, quality expectations) to production.Inform production team of any changes in delivery schedule from buyer or in incoming materials.Provide order trim cards to production team on timely basis and ensure attendance and active participation at pre-production meetings. MATERIAL PLANNING & FOLLOW UPCoordinate with the purchase department for timely availability of materials, trims and packing.Track material arrival vs. planned production dates and highlight shortages or delays.BASIC CRITERIACollege graduate with 1 to 2 years of merchandising experience.Fluency in written and spoken English.Good communication and coordination skills.Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.Good computer literacy.Basic knowledge of leather products manufacturing processes.Interested candidates may apply over email : kushal.patel@rajda.in
