Homemonde is a rapidly growing manufacturing company engaged in online market sales of home decor and lifestyle products. We are seeking a Junior Merchant to assist in the procurement and merchandising of our products for the Indian and overseas markets.

Responsibilities:

· Assist senior merchants in sourcing and procuring products that meet the company's quality standards and customer demands

· Assist in negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best value for the company

· Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and new product opportunities

· Assist in developing product specifications and packaging designs

· Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels

· Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop effective product promotions and campaigns

· Attend trade shows and industry events to stay abreast of market trends and competition

· Maintain accurate product data and pricing information in the company's database

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field

· At least 2 years of experience in merchandising or purchasing, preferably in the home decor or lifestyle industry

· Knowledge of merchandising and procurement principles and practices

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other office software

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

· Willingness to travel for trade shows and industry events
