Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Should have experience in technical procurement of Electrical / Electronics Items and services. Experience in procurement of smart metering and related IT infra would be preferable.
  • Experience of tendering process and bid evaluation
  • Thorough knowledge of SAP-MM module
  • Should have knowledge of costing and finalization of large contracts.
  • Coordination with vendors for timely delivery of the material at warehouses.
  • Should have excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills, timely decision-making, and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Coordinate with planning and operations teams for forecast of the delivery schedule and ensure the delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth completion of projects with respect to site procurement and material management.
  • Responsible for spend management, procurement processes, and policies, cost reduction initiatives & supplier relationship management.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Overall, 10-15 years work experience with 3 plus years in Procurement function in large organization.
