Job Description

Role Purpose:

Define and drive
procurement strategy
for shafts and metal parts.
Develop supplier base and capacity to meet AOP targets.
Ensure uninterrupted supply to plants and collaborate with cross-functional teams for sustainable supply chain and vendor development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for shafts and metal components.
Negotiate commercial contracts ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
Conduct market analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams for material requirements.
Float RFQs, finalize techno-commercial feasibility, and manage NDAs.
Implement cost-saving initiatives through negotiation, VAVE, and supplier consolidation.
Ensure compliance with KBLQAP/Customer QAP and support ESG initiatives.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing.
Techno-commercial expertise in casting, forging, machining, and NDT processes.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and SAP proficiency.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
