Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our team at The Address Co-working Space. As a Junior Designer, you will assist in creating innovative and functional design solutions for our commercial and retail spaces. You will work closely with the design team, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality designs that meet and exceed expectations. Your skills in interior design, AutoCAD, and project management will be essential in supporting the success of our design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in creating multiple layout options, optimizing space for functionality and aesthetics.
2. Develop proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed and accurate design layouts.
3. Collaborate with the design team to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
4. Assist in communicating effectively with clients, demonstrating excellent English proficiency.
5. Develop and maintain a portfolio of interior design projects, showcasing expertise in commercial and retail design.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and design software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
7. Assist in coordinating with cross-functional teams, including architects and contractors.

Requirements:

1. Preferred qualification: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of interior designing experience, with a focus on commercial and retail design.
3. Portfolio of interior design projects, including commercial and retail designs.
4. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g. SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).

Desirable:

1. Experience in designing coworking spaces or similar industries.
2. Certification in interior design 
3. Experience in managing budgets and financial planning.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
