Job Title: Junior Field Technician
Location: Project-based (Locations: Nagpur, Vidarbha, Konkan, and Marathwada)

Reporting To: Senior Site Engineer / Field Project Lead
Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Diploma Graduates to join our team as Junior Field Technicians for the deployment of Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) infrastructure. Candidates will be engaged in ground-level survey, hardware installation, and support maintenance activities essential for deploying smart city components. Training will be provided on tools, safety protocols, field equipment, and installation techniques.
Key Responsibilities (Post Training):
Survey Responsibilities:
Traffic Volume Survey
Record peak-hour traffic, vehicle counts, and traffic flow patterns.
Junction and Intersection Survey
Capture lane geometry, turning movements, and pedestrian flow.
Road Inventory Survey
Measure road width, signage, markings, and surface conditions.
Utility and Right of Way (RoW) Survey
Assist in identifying underground utilities and site clearance.
Power & Network Feasibility Survey
Collect data on power availability and mobile/network signal strength.
Environmental Survey
Record conditions like lighting, fog, rainfall, and visibility.
Installation Responsibilities:
ITMS Equipment Installation
Assist in installing gantries, junction boxes, poles, and camera mounting structures.
CCTV, ANPR, and Sensor Deployment
Support in alignment and physical mounting of surveillance and sensor devices.
Electrical Wiring & Fittings
Lay electrical cables, conduit pipes, and perform basic electrical connections for ITMS devices.
Testing & Commissioning Support
Assist engineers in equipment testing, calibration, and trial runs at installation sites.
Site Coordination & Safety Compliance
Follow safety guidelines and coordinate with site supervisors during field work.
Eligibility Criteria:
Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields
Willingness to learn and adapt to both survey and hardware installation tasks
Comfortable with fieldwork and physical site activities
Basic familiarity with mobile apps, Excel, or data logging tools is a plus
