Junior Chef

We are looking for a Junior Chef to support daily kitchen operations at both our locations (The Studio and the Cafe). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about plant-based cooking, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking as per recipes and kitchen standards
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
• Assist with prep work, inventory handling, and proper storage of ingredients
• Follow SOPs related to food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen safety
• Support catering, events, and special menus as required
• Minimize food wastage and assist in cost control

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
• Strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Punctuality and reliability in reporting to assigned shifts
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physical ability to stand for long hours and perform basic kitchen tasks
• Openness to feedback and readiness to improve skills
• Respect for kitchen SOPs, processes, and workplace discipline
• Commitment to maintaining the quality and values of the Copper + Cloves brand

Working Conditions

• 6 days a week (with one weekly off)
• Rotational shifts may apply
• On-site role at both the locations (Studio and the Cafe), in Bengaluru
