Role Description – Junior Chef

Kanatal, Uttarakhand

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and cooking of

  Indian, Continental & Chinese

  cuisines.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Support the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring the use of fresh ingredients.
• Strictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Contribute to maintaining a professional, disciplined, and cooperative kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Hands-on experience in Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisine preparation.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredient handling, and flavor balance.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene practices, and safety standards.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new dishes.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A diploma/degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent certification is preferred.
