Role Description This is an on-site role in Bengaluru to join our kitchen team as a Senior Chef - we are looking for those at CDP/Sous Chef levels. The roles will contribute to the smooth running of the daily kitchen operations, develop creative and nutritious plant-based recipes, and supervise food preparation to ensure high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include menu planning, maintaining food safety and hygiene, managing kitchen staff, sourcing fresh and sustainable ingredients, and contributing to curated events such as catering and collaborative experiences. Senior Chefs play a pivotal role in maintaining consistency in taste and presentation. About the job OPS & PROCUREMENT MANAGER (CLOUD KITCHEN & CAFE) COPPER + CLOVES (BANGALORE-BASED, ON-SITE, FULL-TIME) About Copper + Cloves Copper + Cloves is a plant-based cafe, cloud kitchen and studio built around wellness, sustainability and quality. We’re expanding our operations across Bangalore and are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who can bring structure, transparency and efficiency to our growing supply chain. It is crucial you will have experience and know how to speak with multiple vendors & cross-check on pricing and quality. THE ROLE We’re looking for someone who can work between kitchen operations, finance and vendors. It is important to ensure every ingredient or utensil that comes into our kitchens meets the standards of quality, cost and ethics that define our brand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all vendor sourcing, negotiations and relationships for ingredients, packaging and kitchen materials. Oversee daily and weekly ordering across cloud kitchen, cafe and studio. Ensure timely delivery, accurate stock levels and zero service disruption. Track food costs, vendor payments and price fluctuations. Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation with the Head Chef. Implement and monitor SOPs for procurement, hygiene and documentation. Maintain transparency in purchase approvals, bills and records. Work with Finance to manage POs, GRNs and payment schedules. Support menu costing and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Develop sustainable and ethical vendor networks aligned with Copper + Cloves’ values. NON-NEGOTIABLES Clear communication and professional integrity Vendor documentation must always be complete and current (GST, FSSAI, PAN). All invoices to be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Weekly stock audit and variance report submission. Collaborative, solution-oriented approach. No blame culture. Monthly cost savings or process-improvement initiatives WHO WE WANT 3–5 years’ experience in F&B procurement, cafe or restaurant operations. Strong negotiation and vendor-relationship skills. Familiarity with inventory systems and basic finance coordination. Fluent in English and Kannada (preferred) or Hindi.
