Job Description: This Data Analyst role involves collaborating with business groups and data teams to understand challenges, design data models, to implement data solutions using SQL, Snowflake, and Oracle. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, data validation automation, root cause analysis, and working in agile environments with tools like JIRA. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, over five years of data-related experience, strong SQL skills, knowledge of data warehousing, and familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI and MicroStrategy, with additional skills in Python and CRM systems considered a plus. Job duties: • Partner with GAS and SIM business group to understand business concepts, challenges, and problems. • Work closely with the data warehouse team on table design and model changes that are required to facilitate BI solutions. • Requirements gathering and documentation such as creating data mapping documents for end-to-end data solutions. • Understand changes and impacts of data transformations as data moves through multiple systems (source to multiple target systems) • Creating test plans include test cases, perform data validation. • Automate data validation in Snowflake/AWS platform. • Responsible for understanding the underlying data structures, data sources and ETL/data pipelines. • Work with Global with business clients and FTT development teams in a collaborative format using “Agile” methodologies. • Perform root cause analysis on data related issues impacting data quality.
