Junior Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Implementing our Custodial Reconciliation and Billing solutions for the US Financial Services clients.
2. Leverage mortgage servicing domain expertise to provide guidance and recommendations to both end customers and internal IT teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
3. Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and product owners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
4. Collaborate with product owners to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for IT teams to implement.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices in the financial servicing domain to improve operational efficiency and enhance overall service delivery.
6. Coordinate with IT teams to perform testing and validation of new systems and enhancements, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Provide training and support to IT and product teams on financial servicing processes, systems, and tools, ensuring a thorough understanding of their use and functionality.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the financial servicing domain, sharing insights and recommendations with both IT and product teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; or MBA/Masters in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Strong academic record with a keen interest in the financial servicing industry.
3. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and changes in the industry.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
