Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Sachin GIDC, Surat Department: Accounts & Finance Reporting to: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager Industry: Textile Manufacturing Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our accounts team in a dynamic textile manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in financial reporting and audits. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally or other ERP software. Maintain purchase, sales, and expense ledgers. Handle data entry for vouchers, journal entries, and invoices. Assist with monthly GST returns and TDS filings. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Support senior accountants in the preparation of financial reports. Maintain proper documentation and filing of records. Coordinate with internal departments for invoice validation and approvals. Assist in stock audits and physical verification activities as needed. Ensure compliance with statutory and internal accounting standards. Qualifications and Skills: B.Com or M.Com in Accounting or Finance. 1–2 years of experience in an accounting role (preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry). Working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles. Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Willingness to work in a plant-based or industrial environment.
