Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Daily tasks include invoice processing, bank reconciliations, data entry, and assisting with audits. The Junior Accountant will also support the finance team in budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including invoice processing and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
• Experience in preparing financial reports and assisting with audits
• Ability to support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus
