Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations, assist in maintaining financial records, and ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all accounting activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers.
• Assist in preparing financial reports as required by management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in India.
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
