Jr. Engineer

Site Supervision and Execution

• Assist in daily site supervision and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor on-site activities for quality, safety, and timely progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Report site issues, delays, and progress to the Project Engineer or Site Manager.

2. Project Planning and Coordination

• Support the planning and scheduling of daily and weekly construction activities.
• Coordinate with other departments (design, procurement, quality, etc.) for material and drawing requirements.
• Assist in ensuring that project milestones are achieved within planned timelines.

3. Material Management

• Prepare material requisitions as per project needs.
• Check and verify the quality and quantity of materials delivered to site.
• Maintain material usage records and ensure minimum wastage.
• Coordinate with the store and purchase departments for timely availability of materials.

4. Quality Assurance and Control

• Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, quality standards, and specifications.
• Conduct inspection and testing of materials and works under guidance of the QA/QC team or Senior Engineer.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, and approvals.

5. Drawing and Documentation

• Study and interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate execution on-site.
• Assist in preparing daily progress reports, site diaries, and measurement sheets.
• Update as-built drawings and record site modifications or deviations.

6. Safety Compliance

• Ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with safety norms and procedures.
• Report any unsafe practices or incidents immediately to the Safety Officer or Project Manager.
• Encourage workers to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

7. Measurement and Billing Support

• Assist in quantity measurement of executed works.
• Prepare running bills and check contractor bills for accuracy.
• Support the estimation team with measurements and work progress data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
