Jr. Dy. Manager -Procurement

We are urgently hiring Jr. Dy. Manager - Procurement @ Nipro India Corporation Pvt Ltd.

Job Purpose:

direct materials, packaging materials, consumables, and imported components

Key Responsibilities

A. Procurement Operations

• Handle end-to-end procurement process for

  direct materials (polymers, components, raw materials)

  and imported items.
• Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, and finalize suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and release purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery as per production plan.
• Coordinate with planning, production, quality, stores, and finance teams for smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and service.

B. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management

• Identify and develop

  new suppliers and alternate sources

  (local and international) to ensure business continuity.
• Negotiate commercial terms to achieve cost reduction and value improvement.
• Conduct market analysis for price trends and cost drivers of key raw materials.
• Support localization of imported items wherever feasible.

C. Import Procurement

• Manage

  import purchase process

  , including obtaining quotations, coordinating with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and logistics team.
• Ensure timely documentation, import licenses, and compliance with

  customs and DGFT regulations

  .
• Track shipments, follow up on pre-alert documents, and resolve import-related issues.

D. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to

  ISO 13485, MDR

  , and company procurement procedures.
• Maintain supplier evaluation, approval, and performance records.
• Coordinate with QA and Regulatory teams for vendor qualification and audits.
• Follow ethical procurement practices and ensure traceability of all procured materials.

E. Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews and feedback sessions.
• Support supplier CAPA implementation for any quality or delivery deviations.

Key Skills

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills (English essential).
• Excellent knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance, and incoterms.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and supplier audit processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a small procurement team.
