Job Description

Purchase Executive

Request quotations, evaluate supplier offers, and negotiate pricing and terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and timely.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store or production team to ensure adequate material availability.
Maintain updated records of suppliers, materials, and prices.
Track the delivery schedule and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
Resolve any supply issues or delays promptly in coordination with the procurement team.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance (quality, pricing, delivery, etc.).
Support documentation and compliance as per company policies and audit requirements
Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain an organized filing system for all accounts payable documents.
Ensure timely payment to vendors and manage payment schedules.
Assist in month end closing processes related to accounts payable.

Qualifications:

BCOM or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase within the Manufacturing OR chemical industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel, World & Powerpoint

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Tally Prime/ Odoo/ SAP

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Days: Monday- Saturday (Alternate Saturdays Off)
Location: Mulund (West)
