We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for interior fit-out, industrial, and commercial projects. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, and coordinating closely with project, site, and accounts teams to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Source and procure materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment as per project requirements

* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers

* Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices and terms

* Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules

* Coordinate with project and site teams to understand material requirements and timelines

* Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely material availability at sites

* Verify material quality, quantities, and compliance with specifications

* Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification, GRNs, and payment processing

* Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and documentation

* Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials

* Ensure cost control and adherence to project budgets

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field

1-4 years of experience as a Purchase Executive, preferably in interior fit-out / construction / industrial projects

Key Skills & Competencies

* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

* Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and fittings

* Excellent coordination and communication skills

* Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

* Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase management software

* Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in industrial and commercial interior projects

* Knowledge of local suppliers, logistics, and taxation (GST or equivalent)

* Experience in turnkey or design-and-build projects

* Work Environment

* Office-based with occasional site visits

* Fast-paced, project-driven environment
