Jr. Accountant

Job Summary

The Jr Accountant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records,

managing entries in Tally, assisting in the day-to-day accounting activities, and generating profit

and loss statements for the organization.

Responsibilities

 Record daily transactions using Tally and ensure all data entry is accurate.

 Maintain ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.

 Assist in preparing Profit & Loss statements, income statements, and other financial

reports.

 Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

 Monitor accounts, process invoices, and prepare bills and statements.

 Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, especially as relevant

to cryogenics.

 Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial data for internal and statutory reporting.

 Support the auditing process and provide required documentation.

 Liaise with vendors and handle billing discrepancies.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

 1–2 years accounting experience specifically with Tally, preferably in manufacturing or

cryogenics.

 Proficiency in data entry and accounting process automation using Tally software.

 Knowledge of preparing profit and loss statements and basic accounting principles.

 Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational and time-management skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
