Jr. Accountant

The Junior Accountant assists in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing general bookkeeping duties. This role supports the accounting team in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions (journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments).
• Maintain general ledger and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Support payroll processing and expense reimbursements.
• Help with bank reconciliations and account analysis.
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Support the senior accountant in ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Tally,).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,409.16 per month
