Jr. Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Junior Accountant with strong expertise in GST, Tally Prime, and TDS. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing taxation-related tasks and supporting daily accounting operations with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime.
• Manage GST-related tasks including GST returns filing, reconciliations, and maintaining compliance records.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns accurately and on time.
• Prepare and maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in statutory compliance, documentation, and audit preparation.
• Maintain accurate records, vouchers, and financial documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong, hands-on expertise in GST, Tally Prime, and TDS (must-have).
• 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant or Accounts Executive (freshers with solid practical knowledge may be considered).
• Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for reports and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Good communication and the ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monthly GST reconciliations (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A/2B).
• Practical knowledge of TDS payments, returns, and 26AS reconciliation.
• Experience handling day-to-day accounts in a similar industry.
