The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of quantity surveying practices, construction project management, cost estimation, and contract administration, along with excellent communication and mentoring skills. This role involves delivering both theoretical and practical sessions to help students gain industry-relevant skills and prepare for real-world projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging and interactive classroom and online training sessions on Quantity Surveying concepts, techniques, and industry practices. Develop course materials, presentations, practical exercises, and assignments based on the latest industry standards. Train students on: Quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation Cost estimation and budgeting Tendering and contract management Cost control and project financial management Software tools like AutoCAD, MS Excel, and any relevant Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Bluebeam, etc.) Regularly update training content in line with industry developments and curriculum guidelines. Assess student performance through tests, projects, and practical evaluations. Provide personalized guidance and support to students to enhance learning outcomes. Coordinate with academic and placement teams for student progress tracking and placement support. Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, and professional workshops when required.
