Role Summary The Book-to-Trip Foundations Organization at Expedia Group provides services that are collective foundational building blocks that enable best-in-class Book-To-Trip experience. This organization contains following sub teams - Reservations team secures travelers intended products and ensures fulfillment with the suppliers and is the authoritative copy of the reservation booked. The QCE Team is responsible for testing end to end booking and post booking experiences. The Expweb team delivers secure, timely, and compliant releases for managing Expedia Travel Websites. The Technical Program Management team drives critical programs in collaboration with engineering and product teams across these three teams and multiple global locations. powering key traveler and partner experiences. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be integral to the delivery of high-impact programs, coordination, structure, tracking, communications and driver for key business decisions. They will be a member of the centralized cross functional Reservations, QCE and Expweb team, making connections between all Expedia Group Brand clients, multiple Lines of Business stakeholders, Supply and Infrastructure teams. What You'll Do You will build the basic structure of a program (possibly from scratch) that may include: business case, prioritization alignment, team engagement, team governance, identifying a sponsor, identifying stakeholders, 'sales' pitch to leadership, etc. You will lead proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks. Leverages experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts. In addition, you'll keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule You will lead increasingly adaptive, ambiguous programs or highly complex technical projects You will facilitate collaboration with different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop effective solutions to issues You will develop product phase-out planning in-line with the product roadmap and determine different phase milestones and priorities You will use written and verbal communication skills effectively to confidently convey technical and business concepts to senior management and some executive audiences Who You Are Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering) or an MBA, or equivalent professional experience. 8+ years of program management experience with cross-brand collaboration Proven ability to highly technical initiatives with multi-disciplinary teams and leaders Adaptable and accountable in managing multiple priorities in a rapidly evolving environment Excellent meeting facilitation, prioritization, and decision-making skills Skilled in breaking down ambiguous business issues into structured problem statements Able to build trust and long-term relationships through storytelling and persuasive influence Accommodation requests If you need assistance with any part of the application or recruiting process due to a disability, or other physical or mental health conditions, please reach out to our Recruiting Accommodations Team through the Accommodation Request.
