Job Title: Solar Project Engineer – Design & Execution (100kW to 2MW)

We are a rapidly growing solar EPC & O&M startup, scaling at over 200% YoY, delivering high-performance solar solutions across India. Our portfolio spans rooftop and ground-mounted projects from 100kW to 2MW, and we’re looking for a hands-on engineer to help us scale smarter and faster.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Design & Engineering
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
• Prepare detailed system designs including single-line diagrams, layouts, and energy yield simulations.
• Optimize system performance using tools like PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Helioscope.
• Execution & Commissioning
• Lead on-site execution of solar projects from mobilization to commissioning.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and vendor teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Supervise installation of modules, inverters, structures, cabling, and protection systems.
• Technical Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and documentation for approvals and audits.
• Ensure adherence to MNRE, DISCOM, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align project goals and resolve issues.
• Provide technical support during client handovers and post-installation troubleshooting.
• O&M Support
• Assist in performance monitoring and maintenance of operational solar plants.
• Analyze generation data and recommend performance improvement measures.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy

Experience: 2–5 years in solar EPC projects (100kW–1MW scale)

Software Proficiency: PVsyst, AutoCAD, MS Excel, Helioscope (preferred)

Technical Knowledge: Solar PV design, grid integration, safety protocols, net metering

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Travel Willing to travel extensively across India

Language: Hindi & English fluency required

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
