Job Title: Cashier – Cineplex

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the box office and/or food & beverage counters. The role ensures smooth billing operations, excellent customer service, and proper cash management in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, UPI, and digital payment transactions accurately
• Issue movie tickets and/or bill food & beverage items using the POS system
• Ensure correct pricing, discounts, offers, and promotions are applied
• Maintain accurate cash balance and reconcile cash at the end of each shift
• Generate shift-wise sales reports and submit to the Duty Manager
• Assist customers with queries related to tickets, show timings, seating, and offers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash counter area
• Follow SOPs related to cash handling, refunds, and void transactions
• Coordinate with F&B, ushering, and operations teams during peak hours
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and customer service guidelines

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure during peak shows and weekends
• Honest, responsible, and well-groomed

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass
• Prior experience as a cashier (retail / cinema / hospitality preferred)
