Jewellery Sales Assistant

As a Jewelry Sales Executive in a retail setting, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, understanding their preferences, and offering personalized assistance in selecting jewelry items. You will actively promote and sell jewelry products to meet or exceed sales targets. It is essential to have a strong knowledge of the jewelry range, including precious metals, gemstones, and styles to effectively assist customers in making informed choices. You will also play a key role in visual merchandising by ensuring that jewelry is displayed in an attractive manner to enhance sales and attract customers. Inventory management tasks will include maintaining adequate stock levels, assisting with restocking, and conducting regular stock counts. Efficient handling of cash, credit, and card transactions is crucial, along with building and maintaining customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Monitoring and reporting on daily sales, customer preferences, and inventory trends will be part of your responsibilities. You will educate customers on jewelry care, warranty, return policies, and make product recommendations to enhance their purchase experience. To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in the jewelry industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to meet sales targets, attention to detail, basic math skills, and a passion for jewelry and fashion trends are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional certifications in retail sales or jewelry can be advantageous but not mandatory. This full-time, permanent position will be based in a retail store with flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays. You will work in a dynamic, customer-facing environment where professionalism in handling customer inquiries and concerns is paramount.
