Strong understanding of server-side MVC architecture
Hands-on experience with JSP, including:

JSP lifecycle
JSP directives, scripting elements
Expression Language (EL)
Custom and standard Tag Libraries (JSTL)

Solid experience in HTML, JavaScript, and UI integration with JSP
Strong expertise in Struts Framework (Struts 1.x preferred):

Action mappings and workflows
Form beans and validations
Configuration-driven navigation

Experience integrating Struts/JSP layers with backend Java services
Ability to work effectively on legacy codebases

Nice To Have / Preferred Skills

Experience with Spring (legacy integrations)
Basic understanding of SQL and database interactions
Familiarity with enterprise application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat)
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
Exposure to production support and incident handling
Understanding of security, session management, and performance optimization
