Java Developer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to support front-end applications and mobile clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Business Analysts) to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions on schedule.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes and enhancements.
• Write clean, well-structured, and unit-tested code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior developers to foster continuous improvement.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized queries.
• Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and caching solutions (Redis).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
