About the Role

Volta is looking for a Java Developer with 3+ years of strong backend development experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, with a passion for building high-performance and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java 17/21.
• Build robust Microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Implement secure authentication using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Utilize Redis for in-memory data processing and caching.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimize performance, ensure system reliability, and uphold coding best practices.
• Conduct unit tests, debug issues, and participate in peer code reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong programming expertise in Core Java (Java 17/21)
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Web, and Spring Security
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Experience with Redis and caching strategies
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2/JWT-based authentication
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other relational/non-relational databases

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Java backend development
• Must be currently residing in Hyderabad
• Available for in-person interviews at our office
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred
