Java Developer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code adhering to industry standards and best practices. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Develop and maintain RESTful services and integrate with internal and external systems. Resolve application defects and performance issues through systematic debugging and optimization. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and UI/UX. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed modules, features, and integrations. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 2–6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development (adjust as necessary). Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming concepts, exception handling, collections, and multithreading. Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures. Solid understanding of Hibernate/JPA for ORM-based data access. Strong command of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with build and version control tools such as Maven/Gradle and Git. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is preferred. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
