Data Science Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Intern to join our analytics team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and model building using real-world datasets. You’ll collaborate with our data scientists and engineers to derive actionable insights and support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and identify key patterns or trends. Assist in building, testing, and optimizing machine learning models. Develop visualizations and dashboards to present analytical results. Support data-driven projects by documenting findings and presenting insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing. Required Skills: Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis. Proficiency in Python (libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn). Familiarity with SQL and data querying. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and basic model evaluation techniques. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Familiarity with tools like Jupyter Notebook, Power BI, or Tableau. Basic understanding of big data concepts or cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) is a plus.
