ITI Electrician

Description:

The Electrician shall be responsible for installing, maintaining, repair troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within our FMCG manufacturing plant. The role ensures minimal downtime, adherence to safety protocols, and support in continuous production operations. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and an understanding of statutory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance of electrical panels, motors, PLC panels, wiring, and production machinery.

• Ensure quick resolution to Breakdowns in electrical equipment to minimize production downtime.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, power distribution systems, lighting systems, and plant equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and faults and take corrective actions.

• Assist in new machinery installation, commissioning, and electrical fitment as per manufacturer guidelines.

• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption.

• Ensure safe working practices, as per guidelines.

• Calibrate and maintain electrical instruments, sensors, and controllers.

• Maintain stock of essential electrical spares and coordinate with the Purchase department for any replenishment.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and industrial machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and manuals.

• Hands-on experience with motors, starters, and other electrical systems/equipment.

• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for industrial equipment.

• Understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.

• Good communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• 2–5 years of experience in an FMCG / Manufacturing / Industrial environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
