Job Title: IT Team Lead-Support Service

Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Lead to oversee the IT operations at Fernandez Foundation Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, and support teams in a healthcare environment. The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of hospital IT systems, driving process improvements, and managing a team of IT professionals across multiple teams to deliver efficient and reliable technology support. The role requires a strategic approach to IT management while focusing on day-to-day operational excellence, including managing LAN, WAN, CCTV, Wi-Fi, Storage, and Cybersecurity systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage multiple IT support teams, including IT staff and engineers.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

IT Infrastructure and Operations:

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the hospital's IT infrastructure, including
    servers, networks (LAN/WAN), hardware, and software systems.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of critical hospital systems, including EMR (Electronic Medical Records), PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems), and other healthcare applications. Manage Wi-Fi networks across hospital premises, ensuring stable and secure connections.
  • Oversee CCTV and surveillance systems to ensure hospital security and compliance
    with safety regulations.
  • Manage storage solutions, ensuring data is stored securely and is accessible for authorized personnel.
  • Maintain and manage LAN and WAN networks, ensuring reliable communication
    between hospital departments and locations.
  • Manage user access and security protocols to protect sensitive patient and hospital
    data.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new
    implementations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project
    completion.
  • Develop project plans, set timelines, and manage budgets.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Act as the point of escalation for complex technical issues related to IT infrastructure,
    network, and security.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues to minimize disruption to hospital
    operations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT support and service
    delivery.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure all IT systems comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements (such
    as HIPAA, NABH, and local cybersecurity laws).
  • Implement and maintain data security and backup procedures, including regular data
    integrity checks and disaster recovery plans.
  • Regularly audit and assess vulnerabilities across the hospitals LAN/WAN network, Wi-
    Fi, and CCTV systems.
  • Lead the implementation of cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software to safeguard hospital data.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments to identify and
    address security gaps.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with hospital management, department heads, and external vendors.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on IT performance, issues, and improvements.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the hospital's goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management, with at least 2/3
    years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital IT systems, including EMR, HIS (Hospital Information
    System), PACS, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, CCTV, storage management, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in managing Windows and Linux-based servers, network infrastructure,
    and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
    healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare IT operations and familiarity with healthcare compliance
    standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Expertise in CCTV management, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and storage management.
