Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Ensure the proper functioning of IT infrastructure (servers, desktops, printers, etc.).
• Assist in setting up user accounts and permissions.
• Manage and update the company's IT asset management system.
• Assist in IT projects such as software updates and system upgrades.
• Monitor network and system performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on using IT systems effectively.
• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for system and network improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT support, desktop support, or helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with hardware diagnostics, software installations, and basic networking.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal); German or French is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Swiss/EU work permit or the right to work in Switzerland.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop support is a plus.
