Position: IT Support Specialist Location: Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva, Basel, or Hybrid) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring that our company's IT systems run smoothly. You will assist employees with any IT-related issues, help set up new hardware and software, and ensure systems are properly maintained and updated. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems. Ensure the proper functioning of IT infrastructure (servers, desktops, printers, etc.). Assist in setting up user accounts and permissions. Manage and update the company's IT asset management system. Assist in IT projects such as software updates and system upgrades. Monitor network and system performance and suggest improvements where necessary. Provide training and guidance to employees on using IT systems effectively. Document technical issues and solutions for future reference. Collaborate with other IT teams for system and network improvements. Requirements: Proven experience in IT support, desktop support, or helpdesk roles. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with hardware diagnostics, software installations, and basic networking. Knowledge of IT security best practices. Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal); German or French is a plus. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. Swiss/EU work permit or the right to work in Switzerland.
