Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Desktop Support, Network & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot remote connectivity issues with users working from home or off-site locations.
  • Diagnoses and resolves software, applications, hardware and infrastructure problems at LTSI.
  • Provides daily support for all local users and remote users by phone, desk-side side or remotely.
  • Installs/upgrades PC hardware/infrastructure when required; Ensures that PCs and related devices
  • are configured.
  • Maintains security procedures to safeguard systems from unauthorized users, damaged data, and virus infection.
  • Informs IT Manager of any network issues encountered and assists in completing routine tasks.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Interface with the Manager for coordination and implementation of required
  • hardware/infrastructure systems that arise due to business needs.
  • To recommend adjustments to meet the end users' requirements to the central service responsible.
  • Ensures IT Infrastructure systems, policies, and procedures are compliant with LH Group
  • compliance needs; Escalates and gets resolved any potential non-compliance areas.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new systems and applications; Testing and evaluating new technologies.

Procurement Assistance

  • Responsible for carrying out quality tests and approving procured IT Infrastructure

products/services.

BCP & Documentation

  • Maintains documentation for all IT functions.
  • Conduct basic instruction for hardware usage.
  • Upkeep of asset management tools to track company-owned hardware.
  • Acts as backup for other team members.

Desired candidate profile

  • Technical qualification

    BE/BTech/Diploma

    in a relevant field with

    3-5 years

    of work experience.
  • Sound knowledge and hands-on experience supporting

    IT Infrastructure, Networks,

    and

    applications

    in MNCs working on global systems.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of IT-related functions and systems.
  • Basic to medium knowledge of Microsoft-related software and systems, such as

    Windows, O365, Teams, SCCM

    .
  • Prior experience in

    tech support, desktop support

    , or a similar role.
  • Flexible to work in shifts and available 24x7 for business emergencies.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of ITIL-related processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Intercultural competence.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
