It Support Intern

1. Technical Support

• Provide first-level technical assistance to end users via email, chat, or in person.
  
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  
• Assist in setting up new user accounts, hardware, and software installations.
  
• Help maintain and support office peripherals (printers, scanners, projectors, etc.).
  

2. System & Network Maintenance

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure performance.
  
• Support the IT team in patch management, antivirus updates, and routine system checks.
  
• Help document and track support requests using the organizations ticketing system.
  
• Participate in troubleshooting LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi network issues under supervision.
  

3. Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain an accurate record of IT equipment and software licenses.
  
• Help with tagging, tracking, and auditing IT assets.
  
• Assist in preparing reports on asset usage and maintenance.
  

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Create and update user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation.
  
• Log incidents, solutions, and preventive measures in IT knowledge bases.
  
• Prepare weekly or monthly support reports for management review.
